Refund policy

You changed your mind? 

Publish or Perish Game offers a 30-day return window. If you’re not completely delighted with your game (or someone published a scathing review of it in your living room), you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To qualify for a return:

  • The game needs to be in the same condition as when you received it: unused, un-played, un-plagiarized.
  • It should include original packaging, tags (if applicable), and, ideally, the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • You must not have cited it in your actual research (just kidding… mostly).

Start your return by emailing Max at max@publishorperish.games. You will then receive the instruction for the next steps and the shipping address (spoiler: it’s 12001 Hilloway Rd W, MN 55391).
Important: Please don’t send anything back without contacting Max first—Reviewer 3 will definitely reject that.

😬 Received the wrong item? Or a damaged one?

Check your delivery like you’re reviewing a manuscript. If something’s off—damaged, defective, or just not what you ordered—send an email right away so we can make it right.

🚫 Items That Can’t Be Returned

Some things are outside Publish or Perish Game's scope, including:

  • Perishables (this online store does not sell cheese or orchids, but if it ever does, those too)
  • Personalized items, custom editions, or reviewer-signed copies
  • Flammable liquids, gases, and things you probably shouldn’t play with anyway
  • Sale items and gift cards (unfortunately, the action editor says no)
  • If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, send an email to check with Max first.

🔁 Want an Exchange?

The fastest route: return your item (if eligible), and once it is accepted, you can place a new order. Less bureaucracy, more celebration claps.

🇪🇺 For EU Customers: 14-Day Cool-Off Clause

If you're ordering from the EU, you have 14 days to cancel or return. Items must be unused and in original condition with proof of purchase.

💸 Refunds

Once your return is received and peer-reviewed, you will be notified of approval. If accepted, you will be issued a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card might take a bit longer to process it.

If it’s been more than 15 business days since approval and you haven’t received your refund, email max@publishorperish.games, and Max will track it down.
